About: Heavy 653

Heavy 653 was a random drawing from the things I’ve written. I won’t say it is my favorite or the best thing I have, but it is something I shared before. This piece was written as homework for a writer’s group. The assignment, now that I look back at it, was to combine two dissimilar genres in a way non distracting for the reader. For the life of me, I’m not sure what my second genre was. Not a good sign. I’m sure it was much clearer two years ago when I wrote it…

I’m also not sure how sustainable having the heroine’s eyes closed the entire story would be. But then “The Bird Box” did a good job, so who knows? Maybe the center only has their See-Thru-Your-Eyes (TM) tech within a certain space. Maybe once Heavy 653 gets into the sewers it is too uniform for her to be tracked. May be promise here.

Regardless, more writing coming tomorrow. Maybe this time not random…
